Incidently Lukas has a 235k 2 year old in the 1rst at Churchill and a 750k Mr. Prospector Maiden in the 10th. Day up on both Overbrook Farm and the Lewis's. Need some picks on my sat. thread please.

Sammy so what's the big deal about that?

the over-rated Lukas has had plenty of babies at those prices over the years.The only difference from today and the past these horses made it to the races.You don't here about the 900,000 dollar horses that over-rated Dwayne fvcked up by breaking them down before the horses begin their career.

 

To johnnie's point D Wayne just had a FTS out of Seeking the Gold which Bob & Bev Lewis gave $510,000 for run up the track for MDN Claiming $30K in the 6th at Arlington. The horse had to be broken down to make his first lifetime start in a claimer yet the crowd made him 3-1

 

wasn't making it a big deal, frankly no one asked seattle slew bout his parents. some people do follow however and the 750k piece rolled off today at good odds. ps. didn't play the race.

Sammy ----Did you happen to watch Lukas's piece of garbage yesterday 5/25 Arlington in the 9th race maiden special weights on the weeds.A 750,000 dollar hamburger meat that could only stager home for 3rd.Lukas is the biggest joke trainer in the game today.Besides horses like this one yesterday, I would really like to know how many 750,000 dollar pieces of garbage Lukas breaks down that don't even make it their 1st betting race?

Seen many a Lucas purchase as yearling or 2yo running for a nickle at Tampa at 4 over the years. Guy doesn't just run them a race past their best-he puts 'em over 2-3 more times for good measure.

If I had the Phipps or Lewis's $$$ I'd be sending my babies to Shug or Nick Z. But those guys aren't really willing to kill a young horse-even if it means a trip to Louisville in May.
